Objectives

Skilling, multi-skilling and re-skilling of the state’s human resources to make them industry-ready, providing market-driven, skill-centered and decentralized training and certification.

Started during Tech. Edu. III World Bank Assisted Project, the Vocational Education and Training programs provide diversification of education and training opportunities so as to enhance skills and competencies of different target groups for better employability and to provide opportunities for life long learning.

These programs are completely skill-oriented. Training and assessment are competency based. The timings are flexible; there is no age bar and the certification is nationally recognized.

MS Windows, MS Office, Corel Draw, Adobé PhotoShop, Adobé PageMaker, Adobé Image Ready Ulead Photo Express, Inpage (Oriental languages), Screen Printing, Offset Printing, Letter Press Printing.

Internship at Government Press, Srinagar.
